How to upload/add users in a Distribution list?

This article will guide you through the steps to upload users via CSV and adding individual members manually in a distribution list.

Uploading Users to a Distribution List


Once the list is created, it will appear with no users. Here’s how you can add users via file upload:

  1. Click the Upload Icon under the Actions column of the distribution list.

  2. Download the Sample Template

    • Use Download the Template button to download a sample CSV file.

    • Do not modify the column headers in the template to prevent upload errors.

  3. Prepare Your CSV File

    • Fill in the required user details in the downloaded file.

    • Save the file once you're done.

  4. Upload the CSV

    • Return to the portal and click Choose File to select your completed CSV.

    • Click Save to begin the upload.

    • A pop-up will indicate the status of the uploaded users, if they were successfully added or if any errors occurred.

  5. Verify the Upload

    • Click View under the Action column to confirm the uploaded users appear in the list.


Adding Individual Users Manually


Upon clicking on View to verify the upload, to manually add an individual user,

  1. Click the Add User icon.

  2. A pop-up window will appear — enter the Name and Email of the user.

  3. Click Save to add the user to the distribution list.


With this feature, admins can efficiently organize and communicate with specific user segments as needed.
